Jean Leon 3055 Petit Verdot – Merlot is the boldest and most elegant expression of Penedès. A red wine born from the fusion of two noble varieties, where the floral and spicy intensity of Petit Verdot meets the smoothness, roundness, and juicy fruit of Merlot. Together they create a wine that is pure Mediterranean freshness, balance, and modernity.

Sourced from vineyards cultivated under certified organic criteria, located in loamy-clay soils that provide structure and finesse. The harvest is manual, carried out at the optimal moment of ripeness. Each variety ferments separately in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, followed by a brief aging on fine lees to preserve the fruit character and silky texture.

Intense cherry red color with violet reflections, clean and bright. The nose is fresh and expressive, with aromas of red and black fruit —blackberries, blueberries, plums—, floral notes of violet, sweet spices, and a background of Mediterranean herbs and graphite. On the palate, it is juicy, agile, and silky, with soft tannins, refreshing acidity, and a long, elegant finish where fruit and minerality blend in harmony.
