AALTO PS 2022 is a dry red wine produced by Bodegas Aalto in the D.O. Ribera del Duero, Spain. It comes from vineyards between 60 and 90 years old located in La Horra and La Aguilera, where the clay soils and continental climate provide freshness and concentration to the wine.

The harvest is done manually, with a careful selection of the clusters. The grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts, followed by 20 months of aging in new French oak barrels, allowing the wine to develop its characteristic complexity and elegance.

Tasting Notes

Deep garnet color. On the nose, aromas of black cherry, notes of cola, pine and dried flowers, with a background of vanilla and cedar. On the palate, it is broad and creamy, with a chalky core and a persistent oak flavor.
