Aquilón 2017 from Bodegas Alto Moncayo is the ultimate expression of Aragonese Garnacha. It comes from the oldest vineyards in the D.O. Campo de Borja, cultivated on stony slopes and whipped by the Cierzo wind. Tasting Notes

Intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose is deep and complex, with aromas of blackberry, black cherry, violets, cocoa, sweet spices, and a mineral background. On the palate, it is broad, silky, and enveloping, with ripe tannins, great concentration, and an eternal finish where fruit and oak blend in perfect balance.

Pairing

Ideal with red meats, game stews, slow-cooked stews, cured cheeses, and intense dishes with truffle or mushrooms. Serve between 16 and 18 ºC.
