Baramblanc 2024 from Bodegas Alto Moncayo is a surprising white wine, made entirely from Garnacha and Tempranillo red grapes using the blanc de noirs method. Coming from vineyards located at an altitude of 550 meters on the slopes of Moncayo, this wine combines freshness, minerality, and an enveloping texture resulting from its aging on lees. A unique and vibrant white that breaks molds without losing its Aragonese soul.

Garnacha vineyards: Vines between 15 and 25 years old on clay, ferrous, and slate soils, with a high stony content of quartz and sandstone. Manual harvest in the second half of October.
Tempranillo vineyards: Vines between 25 and 35 years old on red clay soils, with calcareous areas that provide freshness and acidity. Manual harvest in the first week of October.
Winemaking: Separate vinification using the blanc de noirs method. Short pressing without destemming to obtain clear must. Controlled fermentation at 14–18 ºC; 10% of the must ferments in French oak barrels and the rest in stainless steel tanks. 6 months aging on lees with periodic batonnage.
Alcohol content: 13% vol.

Tasting Notes

Pale yellow color with grayish reflections characteristic of blanc de noirs. On the nose, its high aromatic intensity stands out with citrus notes, floral touches, and slight nuances of acidic red fruit. On the palate, it is fresh, saline, and full-bodied, with a creamy texture and complexity derived from its aging on lees. Long, elegant, and balanced finish.

Food Pairing

Perfect with grilled fish, seafood, Mediterranean rice dishes, pasta with light sauce, and creamy cheeses. Serve between 10 and 12 ºC to fully enjoy its freshness and complexity.
