Product Sheet – Argiano Brunello di Montalcino 2020 (750 ml)
Argiano Brunello di Montalcino 2020 is a classic DOCG red, made exclusively from 100% Sangiovese Grosso by the historic winery Argiano, located in Tenuta di Argiano (Montalcino, Tuscany), under a plot-based philosophy and structured aging
After manual harvesting, the wine ferments in steel and French oak barrels. Aging lasts approximately three years: first in barrels (barriques and tonneaux), then in large Slavonian oak barrels, and finally refining in concrete tanks, providing concentration, balance, and freshness.

Tasting Notes
Bright ruby color with garnet hues. The nose offers an elegant combination of cherry, raspberry, sweet tea, and candied orange, along with notes of tobacco, faded violet, dry earth, Mediterranean herbs, and toasted cedar.
On the palate it is medium to full-bodied, with fine tannins and precise acidity that provides freshness. Its finish is soft and balsamic, with a long finish full of aromatic herbs, sweet spices, and minerality. It is a harmonious Brunello, accessible now but with aging potential for a decade or more.
Pairing
It pairs exquisitely with traditional Italian dishes such as bistecca alla fiorentina, meat stews, game, intense aged cheeses, and artisan cured meats. Its structure also makes it suitable for spicy dishes or sautéed mushrooms.
Terroir and philosophy
Tenuta di Argiano is one of Brunello's historic estates, founded in the 11th century and focused on precision viticulture. The blend of fermentation in oak and tank maintains fresh fruit while acquiring complexity. Prolonged aging in magnum or large bottles will generate a slower and more elegant evolution, reflecting Tuscan tradition in a modern style.
