As Sortes 2023 is the echo of the Valdeorras mountains, a white wine born from centenary Godello vineyards spread across six unique plots ("sortes"), where granite rock and altitude impart tension, freshness, and an Atlantic soul. A wine that reflects the grandeur of the landscape in every sip.

The harvest is done manually, plot by plot, and the grapes ferment and age on their lees for 8 months in 500L French oak barrels, achieving a harmonious fusion between fruit, wood, and the minerality of the terroir.

Tasting Notes

Bright yellow color with golden reflections. On the nose, it displays intense notes of ripe white fruit (pear, apricot), citrus (grapefruit), aromatic herbs, and wild flowers, with a subtle toasted hint from the aging. On the palate, it shows vibrant grace, precise acidity (pH 3.02, 7.2 g/L acids), a silky texture, and a long, dry finish that persists with minerality and fruit.

Food Pairing

Perfect with white fish, steamed seafood, seafood rice dishes, sushi, white meats, and Asian cuisine. Its balance between freshness and volume enhances the flavor of each dish.
