Vineyard and Winemaking

The wine comes from the Clarisa and Almendro plots, the only red grape plots on the Quinta San Diego organic estate, characterized by sandy soils that provide finesse and elegance. The harvest was carried out manually on September 14, 2024, selecting the grapes at their optimal ripeness.

Only the free-run must is vinified, fermenting spontaneously to preserve the purity, delicacy, and the cleanest expression of the terroir and the variety.

The 2024 vintage was marked by a slight delay due to rains and a drop in temperatures at the beginning of September, favoring a slow and balanced ripening. Harvesting was carried out in stages over three weeks, ensuring precise selection and excellent grape health.

Tasting Notes

It presents an attractive garnet color. On the nose, it is clearly fruity, clean, and delicate. On the palate, it combines intensity and lightness, with a fine red wine structure but without tannic burden, maintaining vibrant freshness and a silky texture. A fluid, elegant, and very expressive wine.

Food Pairing and Serving

Ideal with vegetable cuisine, mild rice dishes, oily fish, white meats, fine cured meats, or simply to enjoy on its own.
Serving temperature: 12–14 ºC.
