Tinácula Tinto 2024 from Bodega Las Calzadas is born in Pozoamargo, at a historic crossroads of Roman roads that connected Alcalá with Cartagena and Córdoba with Sagunto. A wine that pays homage to the interior of La Mancha and its traditional varieties, made with an artisanal philosophy based on organic vineyards and aging in centuries-old amphorae. An honest, fresh red wine deeply linked to its landscape.

Vineyard and Winemaking
It comes from old goblet-pruned vineyards located in Pozoamargo (Cuenca), at an altitude of about 800 meters, surrounded by stone pines, olive trees, almond trees, and scrubland, distributed in small plots. Vines planted between the 1950s and 1980s, on alluvial soils with surface pebbles and red clay over limestone at depth. Extreme continental climate, with strong temperature fluctuations and average annual rainfall around 450 mm.
Manual harvest. The aging takes place for 6 months in ancient 500-liter clay amphorae, recovered from historic cellars, preserving the purest expression of Bobal.
Tasting Notes
It presents an intense cherry red color. On the nose, it is expressive and deep, with aromas of ripe red fruit that give way to balsamic notes and subtle lactic hints. On the palate, it is fresh and fruity, with mineral touches and a persistent and balanced finish.
Pairing and Serving
Very versatile at the table. Ideal with pasta, warm salads, white meats, and fish.
Serving temperature: between 12 and 14 °C.
Tinácula Tinto 2024 is an amphora wine with a contemporary soul: sincere, light, and full of identity, demonstrating Bobal's ability to offer freshness and character from the heart of Ribera del Júcar.
