Corimbo I Reserva 2019 represents the ultimate expression of Bodegas La Horra, a wine born from century-old vines that precisely interprets the noblest essence of Ribera del Duero. Made exclusively with Tinta del País, it comes from small plots with very low yields where each vine contributes extraordinary concentration and depth.
The 2019 vintage was marked by a warm and dry cycle that significantly reduced production, favoring small clusters and exceptional quality. After careful winemaking and 16 months of aging in French and American oak barrels, a wine of great aromatic intensity, balance, and aging potential is born, considered by the winery itself to be one of the best Corimbo I produced to date.

Tasting Notes
It presents an intense cherry red color with a dark red rim, bright and with great depth.
On the nose, it displays enormous aromatic complexity, with multiple layers that continually evolve in the glass. Ripe black fruits such as plum, blackberry, and cassis predominate, accompanied by delicate mineral notes of damp earth and limestone. The ensemble is completed by elegant hints of rockrose, marjoram, everlasting, and other aromatic herbs from the Castilian landscape, perfectly integrated with subtle wood.
On the palate, it impresses with its fullness, volume, and refinement. The tannins are noble, fine, and silky, supporting a powerful structure without losing elegance. Black fruit is once again the protagonist along with delicate sweet spices, mineral hints, and an underbrush background that prolongs the finish. The finish is very long, deep, and extraordinarily persistent, reflecting a magnificent balance between power and finesse.
Food Pairing
Perfect with roasted suckling lamb, T-bone steak, grilled red meats, game, traditional stews, mushrooms, aged cheeses, and high-end Castilian cuisine.
Recommended serving temperature: between 16 and 17 ºC (60.8 and 62.6 ºF).
Corimbo I Reserva 2019 is the most complete expression of the old vines of La Horra. Concentration, elegance, and freshness coexist in a wine that precisely conveys the landscape of Ribera del Duero and demonstrates that greatness lies not only in power, but also in harmony, depth, and the ability to thrill glass after glass.
