Corimbo Rosado Reserva 2023 is a contemporary reinterpretation of the historic clarets of Ribera del Duero. Produced by Bodegas La Horra, this wine breaks with the traditional schemes of modern rosé to offer a wine for aging, gastronomically versatile, and with an extraordinary capacity for evolution.

Made exclusively from Tinta del País cultivated in small plots in La Horra and nearby towns, it combines the intensity of fruit with prolonged aging for 15 months in used barrels, where the wood is barely perceived but adds depth, texture, and remarkable complexity. The result is an elegant rosé with the soul of a great wine and its own personality.

Tasting Notes

It presents an attractive, unusually intense rosé color, bright and luminous, evoking the tradition of the ancient Ribera clarets.

On the nose, it displays a very elegant aromatic expression dominated by stone fruits, such as apricot and peach, accompanied by delicate citrus notes and a subtle hint of rose petals. The aging is perfectly integrated, providing depth without masking the fruit. Elegant mineral nuances typical of limestone soils also emerge, along with delicate notes of hydrocarbons and a great sense of cleanliness.

On the palate, it surprises with its volume, silky texture, and extraordinary freshness. The fruit dominates again with hints of peach and apricot, supported by vibrant acidity and a mineral character that prolongs the finish. The aging provides structure and breadth, resulting in a wine with the complexity of a great white and the identity of a historic Ribera del Duero claret. The finish is long, fresh, and persistent.

Perfect with rice dishes, fatty fish, seafood, white meats, poultry, Mediterranean cuisine, Iberian cured meats, semi-cured cheeses, and haute cuisine dishes where a rosé with structure and accompanying capacity is desired.
