Enfudrecido 2022 is one of Bodegas Tierra's most personal creations. From a single plot in Labastida, this wine breaks with traditional Rioja schemes by combining white and red varieties in a blend that authentically expresses the landscape of Rioja Alavesa.

The result is an original, elegant, and deeply gastronomic wine, where fruit, minerality, and aging coexist with absolute naturalness.

The Vineyard

The grapes come exclusively from the La Tejera plot, planted in the 1990s on clay-limestone soils.

The vineyard has a slight slope towards the Ebro river and a completely west orientation, taking advantage of the afternoon sun to achieve balanced ripening of the four varieties that coexist in the same plot.

The harvest is carried out manually in 14 kg boxes, carefully selecting the fruit directly from the vineyard.

Winemaking

After manual selection of the bunches, the grapes are destemmed and fermented in small stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature, seeking to preserve the personality of each variety.

Aging lasts for 16 months in 700-liter Central European oak barrels, using 50% new barrels and 50% used barrels, providing complexity and structure without hiding the expression of the vineyard.

The result is a meticulously produced wine, where minimal intervention allows the full singularity of this Labastida plot to be expressed.

Tasting Notes

It presents an attractive red color with delicate orange reflections that anticipate its personality.

On the nose, it displays an elegant combination of floral aromas, ripe red fruit, and a marked mineral background that provides depth and character.

On the palate, it is fresh, balanced, and refined, with a silky texture and excellent persistence. Its long finish leaves memories of ripe fruit, delicate mineral notes, and a pleasant sensation that invites continued enjoyment.

Ideal for grilled meats, Iberian cured meats, lamb, roasted poultry, mountain rice dishes, aged cheeses, and intense appetizers.

Recommended serving temperature: 15 ºC.
