The Vineyard

The grapes come from old Godello vines cultivated in the Quiroga area, within Ribeira Sacra.

The vineyards are located between 250 and 400 meters of altitude, on soils of schist, quartz, and slate, a combination that provides a marked mineral identity and great depth to the wine.

The harvest is done manually in small boxes, allowing for a careful selection of the bunches and preserving all the quality of the grape.

Winemaking

After manual selection of the harvest, fermentation takes place in wood to provide greater complexity and texture without masking the varietal expression.

Subsequently, the wine ages in foudres and barrels, slowly refining its structure and gaining volume, elegance, and evolutionary potential.

The entire winemaking process aims to preserve the Atlantic character of Godello and the personality of the Ribeira Sacra terroir.

Tasting Notes

It presents a brilliant, medium intensity lemon-yellow color, clean and luminous.

On the nose, it offers an attractive aromatic intensity, where notes of pear and fresh white fruit stand out, accompanied by delicate hints of vanilla and subtle nuances from the wood aging.

On the palate, it is broad, elegant, and perfectly structured. The acidity provides freshness and tension, while the aging provides volume and a silky texture. The finish is long, harmonious, and with a marked mineral character that prolongs the experience.

Ideal for pairing with seafood, Atlantic fish, scallops, octopus, seafood rice dishes, poultry, traditional Galician cuisine, and soft cheeses.
