CARE Finca Marimú Viñas Viejas 2020 is a darkened sun in Cariñena, a single-varietal red wine made from 100% Cariñena (Carignan), born from century-old vines (over 50 years old) grown in stony and arid soils. After 12 months of aging in French oak barrels, and more than 17 months in the bottle, it reveals itself with power, vibrancy, and complexity.

Tasting Notes

Of bright garnet color with a purple rim, the nose displays black fruit —cassis, blackberry, plum—, along with dark spices, coffee and ink. On the palate, it is powerful, balanced and complex, with ripe tannins, excellent acidity and a long aftertaste that returns to ripe fruits and toasted essences, leaving an echo of terroir elegance.
