Product Sheet – Carmelo Rodero 9 Meses Magnum 2023 (1.5 L)
Carmelo Rodero 9 Meses Magnum 2024 is the large-format version of the young aged red wine from Bodegas Rodero, located north of Ribera del Duero (Burgos). Crafted by Carmelo and directed by Beatriz Rodero, this single-varietal Tempranillo comes from vineyards between 5 and 20 years old, cultivated with care and vinified with varietal respect. The magnum format amplifies its capacity for evolution and expression.
Production includes fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel tanks and malolactic fermentation also in stainless steel. Afterward, the wine is aged for 9 months in French and American oak barrels, and rests for about 3 months after bottling to harmonize.

Its versatility makes it an excellent companion for combined rice dishes, white meats, semi-cured cheeses, Iberian cured meats, and stewed dishes. Perfect for sharing at both informal meals and celebrations.
Terroir and Philosophy
Located in Pedrosa del Duero, Bodegas Rodero cultivates its Tempranillo grapes on trellises, with manual harvesting by plot. Under the direction of Beatriz Rodero, the winery combines family tradition with modern controls to enhance the purity of the fruit. The magnum format provides greater expression and maturity to the wine, favoring a slow and elegant evolution.
