The Vineyard

The grapes come from different plots spread across the Casa Castillo estate.

The vineyards, with ages ranging between 5 and 37 years, grow on franco-calcareous and franco-sandy soils that provide balance, freshness, and fruit expression.

Jumilla's continental Mediterranean climate favors intense yet balanced wines.

Winemaking

Vinification is carried out by traditional fermentation with destemmed grapes and temperature control between 30 and 32 ºC.

Maceration lasts between 12 and 14 days, and subsequently, malolactic fermentation takes place in small foudres and barrels.

The wine is aged for 14 months in 5,000 and 500-liter foudres.
