The Valtuille Vino de Villa 2023 from Castro Ventosa is the collective expression of a winemaking village with history. It comes from different plots located in the municipality of Valtuille de Abajo, where Mencía has been cultivated for generations on poor, well-drained soils. Tasting Notes

Bright cherry red color of medium intensity. On the nose, it is frank and expressive, with fresh red fruit, floral notes, and a subtle mineral background. On the palate, it is fluid and balanced, with fine tannins, lively acidity, and a clean, persistent finish that reflects the identity of the village from which it comes.


Pairing

Ideal with traditional Bierzo cuisine, white meats, inland rice dishes, artisan cured meats, mushroom dishes, and semi-cured cheeses. Serve between 14 and 16 ºC.
