Catena Malbec 2022 is a dry red wine produced by Bodega Catena Zapata in the Mendoza region, Argentina. It comes from vineyards located in Lunlunta, El Cepillo, and Gualtallary, where the alluvial soils and continental climate provide freshness and concentration to the wine.

Harvesting is done manually, with careful selection of the clusters. The grapes undergo cold maceration for 5 days at 8.8°C to extract aromas. Subsequently, they ferment for 10 to 16 days with native yeasts, with a total maceration of 19 to 22 days. The wine ages for 11 to 13 months in first, second, and third-use French oak barrels, allowing the wine to develop its characteristic complexity and elegance.
