Corimbo I Reserva 2018 is the most emblematic wine of Bodegas La Horra, a refined and deeply elegant interpretation of Tinta del País grapes grown in some of the oldest vineyards in Ribera del Duero. It comes from small plots over 70 years old, where low yields and the natural balance of the vines allow for grapes of extraordinary concentration and complexity.
The 2018 vintage, characterized by a cool and rainy cycle, resulted in particularly aromatic, balanced, and very fine wines. Its 16-month aging in French and American oak barrels provides depth and structure without obscuring the purity of the fruit, resulting in a red wine with great aging potential and immense elegance.

Tasting Notes
It presents an intense dark cherry red color with a deep red rim, bright and very lively.
On the nose, it is extraordinarily fine and elegant, with a very harmonious aromatic expression featuring notes of plum, blackberry, cherry, and morello cherry, even the hint of fruit pit. The wood is perfectly integrated, providing depth and complexity without detracting from the fruit's prominence or the vineyard's character.
On the palate, it offers a magnificent balance between volume and delicacy. The mouthfeel is silky, long, and very fresh, supported by fine and perfectly ripe tannins. The minerality of the limestone soils and hints of aromatic plants from the riverside landscape accompany a persistent, elegant, and precise finish. The inherent freshness of the vintage makes this wine one of the most refined expressions of Corimbo I.

Ideal with roast lamb, red meats, sirloin, game, traditional stews, mushrooms, cured cheeses, and high-end Castilian cuisine.
