El Andén de la Estación 2022 is the gateway to the world of Bodegas Muga, a wine that breathes tradition, authenticity, and freshness. Its name is a tribute to the historic train station in Haro, from where Rioja wine began its journey to the world. A red wine that combines the classic elegance of Rioja with a more vibrant, youthful, and accessible profile.

Sourced from the winery's own vineyards located in Rioja Alta, on clay-limestone and alluvial soils that impart freshness and structure. Vines cultivated using sustainable practices. Harvesting is manual, with selection in the vineyard and at the winery. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in oak tanks, followed by an aging period of 14 months in French and American oak barrels, made in the winery's own cooperage, where the wine acquires depth and roundness without losing its fruity essence.

Bright cherry red color with garnet reflections. On the nose, it is frank, fresh, and expressive, with aromas of red fruit —cherry, strawberry, raspberry— and ripe black fruit —blackberry, plum—, accompanied by spicy notes, vanilla, cocoa, dried flowers, and a mineral background. On the palate, it is agile, juicy, and balanced, with silky tannins, good acidity, and a long, fresh, and elegant finish where fruit and subtle aging nuances embrace in perfect harmony.
