El Enemigo Bonarda 2020 is a dry red wine produced by Bodega Aleanna, founded by Alejandro Vigil and Adrianna Catena, in the Mendoza region, Argentina. It comes from vineyards located in El Mirador (Rivadavia) and Gualtallary (Tupungato), where sandy and calcareous soils and a continental climate bring freshness and concentration to the wine.
The harvest is done manually, with a careful selection of bunches. The grapes ferment with indigenous yeasts at a maximum temperature of 28°C for 15 days, with a maceration of 25 days. Subsequently, the wine ages for 15 months in 100-year-old French oak foudres, which allows the wine to develop its characteristic complexity and elegance.
