El Enemigo Malbec 2021 is a dry red wine produced by Bodega Aleanna, founded by Alejandro Vigil and Adrianna Catena, in the Mendoza region of Argentina. It comes from vineyards located in Gualtallary, in the Uco Valley, at an altitude of 1,470 meters above sea level, where the calcareous soils and continental climate provide freshness and concentration to the wine.
Harvesting is done manually, with a careful selection of the bunches. The grapes ferment with native yeasts, followed by 15 months of aging in 100-year-old French oak foudres, which allows the wine to develop its characteristic complexity and elegance.
