Tasting Notes

• Appearance: Intense ruby red wine with violet reflections.
• Nose: Complex and balanced aromas combining ripe red fruits with soft spicy, floral notes and slight hints of oak.
• Palate: Smooth, elegant entry, with silky tannins and good acidity. A long and persistent finish.

Special Production

• Vineyard: The grapes come from vineyards located in Lapuebla de Labarca, at about 400 meters of altitude. The vines are between 60 and 80 years old, planted in clay-limestone and alluvial soils.
• Harvest: Manual, carried out in 20 kg boxes to preserve the quality of the grapes.
• Vinification: Pre-fermentation maceration for 48 hours, fermentation in stainless steel tanks with temperature control.
• Aging: 12 months in French and American oak barrels, which gives it complexity and smoothness.

Ideal to accompany game dishes, red meats, cured sausages and aged cheeses.
