It is born in the D.O. Toro, from old vines grown on ungrafted rootstock in sandy and pebble soils, where the vine resists the passage of years, yielding wines of unique personality.

Made with Tinta de Toro grapes from vines between 90 and 100 years old, cultivated organically and sustainably. Harvesting is manual, with selection in the vineyard. It ferments spontaneously in concrete tanks, followed by an aging period of 14 months in French oak barrels, where the wine achieves its balance, softens its structure, and develops its complexity.

Tasting Notes

Deep cherry red color with garnet rim, high intensity and brilliant. The nose is complex, with aromas of ripe black fruit—plums, blackberries—cocoa, vanilla, leather, sweet spices, and a mineral background reminiscent of stone and dry earth. On the palate it is broad, silky and enveloping, with fine, polished tannins, good acidity and a long, structured and elegant finish, where fruit and aging nuances blend harmoniously.

Pairing

Perfect for accompanying grilled red meats, aged beef chop, suckling lamb, game stews, aged cheeses, and Iberian cured meats. A wine that calls for time, calm, and a generous table.
