El Terroir 2019 was born in Navarra (San Martín de Unx) as a profound ode to the centenarian Garnacha. This organic, hand-harvested wine comes from vines over 120 years old, planted in 1903 on limestone soil. Fermentation is spontaneous, with some stems included, followed by 24 months of aging in large (500–600 L) neutral French oak barrels, to preserve its frankness and Atlantic minerality. Its soul is marked by the emotion of the terroir and Raúl Pérez’s mastery.

Tasting Notes

Bright garnet color. On the nose, it explodes with fresh red fruit—cherry, strawberries, redcurrant—and Mediterranean herbs like rosemary, thyme, and fennel, nuanced by floral notes and pure minerality. On the palate, it is frank and elegant, with velvety tannins, balanced acidity, and a full mid-palate, culminating in a long finish that combines fruit, freshness, and finely woven oak echoes.
