Ferrer Bobet's Vi de Palla 2005 is the reward for those who shun the easy path. A wine born of patience, from the meticulous selection of white grapes slowly dried on wicker racks, following an ancestral technique that transforms time into essence. It does not seek immediacy: its spirit is forged during 20 years of aging in oak barrels, where silence and slowness carve a unique, complex, and soulful wine. A work that exists because someone decided to persevere when everything urged haste.

Tasting Notes

Deep amber color, brilliant and dense. On the nose, it unfolds an aromatic universe of dark honey, candied fruits, citrus peel, toasted nuts, and an echo of noble woods that speaks of its very long aging. On the palate, it is voluptuous, complex, and persistent: an extraordinary balance between sweetness, acidity, and a depth that seems endless. It is a meditative wine, to be savored slowly.

Pairing

Exquisite with blue or very aged cheeses, foie gras, nuts, traditional pastries, almond or orange desserts, and elegant dark chocolate. It can also be enjoyed on its own, as a wine of contemplation and memory. Serve between 10 and 12 ºC.

The Vi de Palla 2005 is a wine that honors resilience, patience, and craftsmanship. A sweet Priorat with an ancient soul, made for those who know that exceptional things are never rushed.
