Bianco di Gorgona 2022 Magnum is a large format white wine made by Marchesi de Frescobaldi, produced on the small island of Gorgona (IGT Costa Toscana). Born from a unique project with the agricultural penal colony, the result of a collaboration between Frescobaldi and the inmates, it is an exclusive bottle that embodies reintegration, island viticulture, and marine ecosystems.

Bright straw yellow color with subtle greenish reflections
Intense nose, combining aromas of white and yellow flowers (mimosa, chamomile, hawthorn) with Mediterranean herbs (rosemary, thyme, sea salt) and citrus and exotic fruits such as grapefruit, ripe lemon, mango, and papaya.
On the palate, it is dynamic and lively, medium-bodied, with vibrant acidity, polished minerality, and an elegant, long, and savory finish

History & Project

From Europe's only prison island, this bottle is the result of a social rehabilitation project: inmates cultivate and make the wine, helping to reduce recidivism rates, driven by the cooperation of Lamberto Frescobaldi since 2012 . Only about 9,000 bottles are produced per vintage, making this Magnum an exclusive piece, full of symbolic value and an authentic narrative.
