Vinya de la Glòria 2020 is a Garnacha that purely expresses the Montsant landscape. Made by the Joan d’Anguera family from grapes exclusively from their own estates, this wine reflects the balance between tradition, organic farming, and a modern interpretation of the Mediterranean terroir.

The Vineyard

The grapes come from the family estates located in Darmós, within the D.O. Montsant. These are calcareous, sandy, and quaternary alluvial soils which, combined with a Mediterranean climate with continental influence, favor elegant wines with great personality.

The winery cultivates about 40 hectares of vineyards distributed among the L’Argatà, Mas de Pedret, La Planella, and El Tancat estates, all dry-farmed under certified organic and biodynamic practices.

Winemaking

Manual harvest with grape selection in the vineyard. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation takes place in concrete tanks with native yeasts. Afterwards, the wine ages for 24 months in French oak barrels.

Stabilization occurs naturally due to the winter cold, and the wine is bottled unfiltered to preserve all its expression.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, aromas of ripe red fruit, Mediterranean herbs, and delicate spicy nuances reflect the character of Garnacha.

On the palate, it is balanced and deep, with a silky texture, fine tannins, and a long finish that combines freshness, fruit, and elegance.
