Tasting notes
In the glass, it shows an attractive dark red color with a creamy and persistent foam. The nose is dominated by aromas of ripe cherry, accompanied by delicate notes of strawberry and a slight hint of almond. On the palate, it is intense and juicy, with a well-defined fruity profile and a spicy touch that adds complexity. The finish has a subtle bitterness that balances the sweetness of the fruit and prolongs the refreshing sensation.
Pairing and serving
It pairs very well with vegetables such as tomato, red pepper, red cabbage or fennel. It also accompanies more intense dishes such as duck breast or game stews. It works surprisingly well with oysters and with fruity ingredients or nuts such as almonds, raspberries, cherries or strawberries. Serve between 6 and 8 °C.
