THE CANNON WOMAN 2022

La Mujer Cañón 2022 is a dry red wine produced by Comando G in collaboration with the Uvas Felices project, within the D.O. Vinos de Madrid. It comes from a vineyard of barely 1 hectare planted in 1934, located in Cadalso de los Vidrios at an altitude of 900 meters on granite soils, where the continental climate provides freshness and concentration to the wine.

Harvesting is done manually, with a careful selection of the bunches. The grapes are vinified whole-cluster in wooden vats, followed by 14 months of aging in foudres and French oak barrels, allowing the wine to develop its characteristic complexity and elegance.

Tasting Notes

Bright cherry red color. On the nose, aromas of fresh red fruits, such as raspberries and cherries, accompanied by notes of aromatic herbs and a mineral touch. On the palate, it is fresh and balanced, with fine tannins and a persistent finish that reflects its origin in the Sierra de Gredos.
