Lalama 2022 is a whisper of granite, fog, and rivers that wind through impossible slopes. It is born in the heart of the Ribeira Sacra, where old vines cling to dizzying hillsides, defying time and gravity, to offer a wine that is pure Atlantic elegance, mineral freshness, and a memory of the Galician landscape.
From vines planted between 30 and 100 years old, on slate, granite, and clay soils, cultivated under organic philosophy and minimal intervention. A delicate blend where Mencía is the protagonist, escorted by Brancellao, Mouratón, Sousón, and Garnacha Tintorera. The harvest is manual, with meticulous selection in the vineyard. It ferments spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, followed by 14 months of aging in used French oak barrels, seeking to respect the purity of the fruit, the freshness of the landscape, and the elegance of time.

Tasting Notes
Cherry red color with violet hues, medium intensity, clean and bright. The nose is fresh, fragrant, and deeply elegant, with aromas of red fruit —strawberry, raspberry, sour cherry—, violets, Atlantic herbs, undergrowth, soft spices, cocoa, and a subtle mineral background that evokes slate and wet stone. The palate is agile, juicy, and vibrant, with silky tannins, sharp freshness, and a long, elegant, and saline finish, where fruit and minerality embrace in an Atlantic whisper.
Pairing
Perfect to accompany fatty fish such as tuna or salmon, white meats, mountain rice dishes, mushroom stews, grilled octopus, artisanal cured meats, and soft cheeses. A wine that calls for conversation, landscapes, and a shared table.
Lalama 2022 is the serene voice of the Ribeira Sacra, a hymn to the balance between the fragility of the landscape and the strength of the land. A glass that breathes fog, stone, and wind, where freshness becomes liquid emotion.
