Loess Inspiration Tempranillo was born spontaneously during a tasting session in the winery while blending one of its most emblematic wines. This search for balance revealed the potential of a selection of barrels capable of expressing a younger, fresher, and more accessible profile without sacrificing the identity of Ribera del Duero.

The result is a vibrant and expressive wine that highlights the fruit and varietal character of Tinta del País, accompanied by a perfectly integrated aging process.

The Vineyard

The grapes come from estate vineyards located in Roa (Burgos), between 806 and 917 meters above sea level.

The vines were planted in 1999 on soils composed of sand and pebbles resting on a clay-limestone base, a combination that favors water balance and fruit concentration.

The continental climate of the area provides thermal amplitude and a slow ripening that preserves the natural freshness of the grape.

Winemaking

The harvest is done manually to ensure optimal fruit selection.

After fermentation, the wine remains for more than 10 months in French oak barrels, acquiring complexity and texture without losing the prominence of the fruit.

The winery performs different staggered bottlings to optimize the evolution of the wine and offer it at its best moment.

Tasting Notes

It presents an intense garnet color with good depth.

On the nose, aromas of blackberry, blueberry, and ripe plum stand out, accompanied by delicate notes of vanilla and cocoa from the aging.

On the palate, it is harmonious, juicy, and balanced, with a pleasant texture, good fruit concentration, and a long and persistent finish.

Pairing

Perfect to accompany grilled red meats, Iberian cured meats, aged cheeses, meat rice dishes, and traditional Castilian cuisine.
