Product Sheet – Mas Doix Les Crestes 2023
Mas Doix Les Crestes 2023 is the gateway to the mineral and vibrant soul of Priorat. A wine that comes from the steep slopes covered in slate, where old vines defy time and terrain, giving life to a wine that balances the strength of the landscape with the elegance of Grenache.
From vineyards located between 350 and 500 meters of altitude, on slate (licorella) soils that impart character, verticality, and tension. Harvesting is manual, with careful selection of the bunches. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, followed by 8 months of aging in French oak barrels, which provides structure, smoothness, and complexity without overshadowing the fruit.

Bright cherry red color, medium-high intensity with purple reflections. The nose is expressive and fresh, with aromas of ripe red fruit, cherry and raspberry, intertwined with notes of Mediterranean herbs, violets, sweet spices and a mineral background reminiscent of graphite and hot stone. On the palate, it is agile, juicy and elegant, with fine tannins, good acidity and a long, fresh and saline finish, where fruit and slate blend in harmony.
Pairing
Perfect to accompany grilled meats, mountain rice dishes, light game dishes, stews, aged cheeses or mushrooms. Its balance of freshness, fruit and minerality makes it a versatile and seductive wine.
Mas Doix Les Crestes 2023 is a Priorat that celebrates the kindest and freshest expression of this extreme landscape. A glass that speaks of slate, Mediterranean sun and the patient work that gives meaning to mountain viticulture.
