Mantonni 2023 by Oxer Wines is named after a rising elf from Basque legendary tradition, a symbol of femininity and connection to nature. It is an intimate and personal wine, almost domestic, made from vineyards close to the author's home. A red wine of ripe fruit and natural elegance, designed to stir emotions with subtlety and harmony.

Vineyard and Winemaking
The grapes come from vineyards spread between the Álava towns of Elvillar, Leza, Navaridas and Laguardia, and the high Riojan towns of Cárdenas and San Vicente de la Sonsierra. Nearly century-old vines, organically farmed under the principles of regenerative agriculture. Manual harvest.
Fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts in used 1,000-liter French oak vats. Malolactic fermentation takes place in used French and German oak barrels. Subsequently, the wine undergoes an aging process of 10 months in these same barrels.

Tasting Notes
The nose is fruity, ripe and elegant, with a fine and delicate expression and slight spicy notes. On the palate, it shows a magnificent acidity and very soft and caressing tannins, with a fluid passage and a very long finish, balanced and persistent.

Ideal for grilled meats, mild stews, seasonal cuisine, mushrooms and medium-intensity dishes.
