Paix Dieu Tripel 33 cl – Belgian Abbey Beer

Available format: 33 cl bottle

Product description

Paix Dieu Tripel is one of the most unique beers in Belgium. Brewed by Brasserie Caulier, it follows a unique tradition inspired by the ancient Paix Dieu Abbey: its production takes place only during the full moon. This link with the lunar calendar, which marked the lives of the Cistercian nuns of the abbey, gives an unmistakable identity to a beer that stands out for its complexity, elegance, and extraordinary aromatic richness. A tripel with an intense character that has become a reference for lovers of great Belgian beers.

Tasting notes

In the glass, it presents an attractive, slightly veiled golden color, topped by a white, abundant and persistent foam. On the nose, it displays complex aromas where notes of ripe fruit, vanilla, malt, Belgian yeast and delicate spicy nuances appear. On the palate, it is creamy, broad and perfectly balanced, combining fruity flavors, hints of coriander, soft spices and an elegant hoppy bitterness. Its finish is long, warm and extraordinarily refined.

Pairing and serving

Ideal for pairing with cured cheeses, roasted poultry, foie gras, seafood, fatty fish and spicy oriental-inspired dishes. It also harmonizes wonderfully with desserts made with fruits or cream. Serve between 8 and 10 °C in a chalice-type glass to appreciate all its aromatic complexity.

Paix Dieu Tripel is much more than an abbey beer. Its production linked to lunar cycles and its exceptional aromatic profile make it one of the most original and recognized tripels in Belgium. A beer to enjoy slowly and discover new nuances with every sip.
