Pepe Mendoza Casa Agrícola Tinto 2024 – The Living Soul of the Mediterranean

Pepe Mendoza Casa Agrícola Tinto 2024 is an organic red wine made in Llíber (Alicante) by Casa Agrícola, a project by Pepe Mendoza. It combines 70% Monastrell, 25% Giró, and 5% Alicante Bouschet from high-altitude vineyards, with sustainable agriculture and manual harvesting.

It is fermented with whole bunches and indigenous yeasts in steel tanks. It finishes with 6 months of aging in 500L French oak barrels, with minimal intervention.

Tasting Notes

Vibrant cherry color. On the nose, it reveals Mediterranean herbs—rosemary, pine, and floral rosemary—alongside an undertone of flowers and fresh red fruit. On the palate, it offers juiciness, balanced acidity, soft tannins, and an herbal and slightly spicy finish with a balsamic touch.

Pairing

Perfect with mixed paella, white meat, artisanal cured meats, and semi-cured cheeses.

In every sip, the coastal spirit of Marina Alta awakens with a breeze and pine. It is a song to the land and indigenous flavor, a serene wine that speaks of landscape and memory, soft and firm, pure memory of the Mediterranean.
