The Vineyard

It comes from vineyards in Los Chacayes, with vines around 15 years old. The semi-desert continental climate, with scarce rainfall and a wide temperature range between day and night, favors slow and balanced ripening, concentrating color and aromas.

Winemaking

Traditional fermentation between 25 and 30 ºC with daily pump-overs. Extended maceration to enhance color and structure. Malolactic fermentation is carried out at low temperatures. Subsequently, the wine ages for 8 to 10 months in French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes

Intense ruby color with cherry reflections. On the nose, it shows blueberries, cherries, and raspberries, accompanied by subtle spicy notes.

On the palate, it is structured and complex, with pleasant tannins that provide a sweet and enveloping sensation. Long finish where red fruits, spices, and light toasted notes combine.

Pairing

Perfect with smoked meats, beef kidneys, grilled dishes, and intensely flavored aged cheeses.
