Pruno 2022 is a wine born from the heart of Ribera del Duero, where stone, cold, and sun embrace the vines to give life to a red wine that has conquered the world with its balance of freshness, fruit, and elegance. A work by Finca Villacreces, a magical enclave surrounded by pine forests and vineyards, on the banks of the Duero.

From its own vineyards located in the Golden Mile of Ribera, on soils of pebbles, sand, and clay, this wine is the result of sustainable and respectful viticulture. The harvest is manual, with selection in the vineyard and in the winery. It ferments in stainless steel tanks and ages for 12 months in French oak barrels, where it refines without losing its fruity expression.

Tasting Notes

Intense cherry-red color with garnet reflections. Frank, clean, and expressive nose, with aromas of ripe black fruit—plum, blackberry, blackcurrant—combined with notes of sweet spices, cocoa, licorice, and a subtle balsamic background. On the palate, it is silky, round, and balanced, with soft tannins, good acidity, and a long, harmonious finish where fruit and aging notes integrate in perfect harmony.

Food Pairing

Ideal with grilled meats, traditional stews, suckling lamb, Iberian cured meats, aged cheeses, and spoon dishes. A versatile wine, perfect for everyday enjoyment and for celebrating special moments.
