PSI Magnum 2021 is the large-format edition of the PSI red wine from Dominio de Pingus, produced in the D.O. Ribera del Duero by Peter Sisseck. It is a structured rosé with character, designed to evolve well in a large bottle.

The grapes come from old vines of Tinta Fina and Garnacha Tinta, grown in micro-parcels. Fermentation takes place naturally, without added yeasts, using cement tanks and French oak barrels, combining tradition and respect for the fruit. Total aging is around 18 months, with the aim of preserving freshness and balance.

Tasting Notes

In the glass, it offers an intense cherry red color with violet reflections. The nose is fresh and pure, with vibrant aromas of red fruits like cherry and raspberry, along with nuances of damp earth, soft licorice, and subtle floral and balsamic touches. On the palate, it is fresh, with ripe and well-integrated tannins, and a lively acidity that provides length and a clean finish.

Pairing

Perfect with lean red meats, light roasts, quality cured meats, and stews. It also works well with dry rice dishes and medium-aged cheeses, ideal for celebrations and occasions where a fresh yet structured wine is desired.

The selected vines come from old vines grown in small parcels, reflecting an artisanal approach that seeks maximum purity and personality. The combination of fermentation in cement with aging in oak provides depth without sacrificing freshness. The magnum enhances the slow evolution and complexity of this exclusive Ribera del Duero.
