Qué Bonito Cacareaba 2023 is the bright and bold song of Rioja Oriental, a white wine that breaks molds and looks to the horizon with freshness and depth. Under the care of Benjamín Romeo, this wine rescues historical grape varieties from the region and elevates them to their maximum expression, combining tradition and avant-garde in a complex and seductive white wine.

From high-altitude vineyards on poor clay and limestone soils, where the sun and the cierzo wind shape perfectly balanced bunches. The grapes are hand-harvested and slowly fermented with indigenous yeasts, partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in new and used French oak barrels, where the wine rests on its lees for several months, refining its texture and displaying all its elegance.

Pale golden yellow color, bright and clean. On the nose, it is complex, elegant, and expressive, with notes of ripe white fruit —apple, pear—, candied citrus, dried flowers, fresh almond, soft spices, and a subtle mineral background. On the palate, it is broad, creamy, and vibrant, with precise acidity, a silky volume, and a long, persistent, and saline finish, where the fruit, aging, and terroir blend in harmony.
