From the luminous heart of Jerez flows this majestic dry amontillado, a work of time and patience born in Lustau's centuries-old wineries. Tasting Notes
Bright amber color with golden reflections. On the nose, saline and dried fruit notes intertwine with hints of noble woods, spices, dried orange peel, and toasted almonds. On the palate it is dry, precise, with a lively acidity that structures its slender body. The finish is long, elegant, and persistent, with echoes of walnut, smoke, and a minerality that evokes the albariza soil.
Pairing and Serving
Serve between 12 and 14 ºC in a large glass. It masterfully accompanies cured cheeses, Iberian ham, nuts, consommés, or smoked fish. It also shines with Asian cuisine or during the unhurried meditation of a relaxed afternoon.
Aged by time and refined by Lustau's wisdom, this Rare Amontillado Escuadrilla is a liquid monument to the art of aging wine. A dry jewel, with a saline soul and a toasted heart.
