The Vineyard

The grapes come from the Matalospardos vineyard, located in Valtuille de Abajo, with vines over 50 years old.

The clay soils and the Atlantic climate of Bierzo provide balance, freshness, and a distinct mineral expression.

Winemaking

Fermentation takes place with whole clusters in large oak vats, with prolonged macerations lasting between two and five months.

Subsequently, the wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels and concrete tanks, seeking to preserve the purity of the fruit and the personality of the terroir.

Bottling is carried out without fining or filtering.

Tasting Notes

Delicate floral notes of violet appear on the nose, along with mineral notes and subtle hints of cappuccino.

On the palate, it is broad and enveloping, with great volume, excellent acidity, and an elegant and balanced structure.

The finish is long, fresh, and full of nuances.
