The Vineyard

The grapes come from old vineyards located in Valtuille, in the heart of Bierzo.

The clay-limestone soils provide balance, depth, and a distinct mineral expression to the wine.

The traditional co-planting of different varieties contributes to enriching its complexity and freshness.

Winemaking

Vinification is carried out with partial destemming and macerations of approximately 30 days through gentle punch-downs.

Alcoholic fermentation takes place with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks and 5,000-liter oak vats.

Subsequently, the wine undergoes an aging period of 6 months in second-year French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes

The nose is dominated by aromas of fresh and ripe red fruit accompanied by delicate floral and spicy notes.

On the palate, it is juicy, fresh, and balanced, with soft tannins, good fluidity, and a very pleasant and expressive profile.

The finish is clean, fruity, and persistent.
