The Vineyard

The grapes come from the El Rapolao site, in ValtuiIle de Abajo, a vineyard of approximately 1.5 hectares planted between 1920 and 1980.

The orientation and Atlantic character of the area favor slow and balanced ripening, resulting in fresh, delicate, and deeply mineral wines.

Harvesting is done manually, respecting the quality of the fruit as much as possible.

Winemaking

Fermentation is carried out traditionally with indigenous yeasts and whole clusters, following Raúl Pérez's usual philosophy.

The wine ferments in vats and then ages for 12 months in 225 and 500-liter oak barrels.

Bottling is done without fining or filtering to preserve the full expression of the vineyard.

Tasting Notes

The nose reveals aromas of black licorice, grated cocoa, wild herbs, and delicate notes of tangerine peel.
