Carmelo Rodero Raza 2021 is a high-end red wine produced by Bodegas Rodero in the D.O. Ribera del Duero. It comes from a selection of five unique plots in Pedrosa de Duero —Quintana, Boada, Valcabado, Guzmán and Pedrosa— where the 30 to 35-year-old Tempranillo vines sink their roots into clay soils at an altitude of over 830 meters.

The harvest is carried out by hand, with meticulous berry-by-berry selection. Fermentation takes place without pumping, by gravity, maximizing the integrity of the fruit. Subsequently, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels, where it remains for 20 months, refining and developing complexity without losing freshness.
