Resalte Vendimia Seleccionada 2021 is the truest expression of Ribera del Duero elevated to elegance. A wine born from precise work, meticulous selection, and absolute respect for the vineyard. A work that reflects the balance between power, freshness, and finesse, where Tinta Fina (Tempranillo) becomes the absolute protagonist.

Sourced from high-altitude vineyards, over 30 years old, on clay-limestone and stony soils that provide tension and minerality. The harvest is manual, with rigorous selection of bunches in the vineyard and on the sorting table. It ferments with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, and its aging extends for 14 months in French and American oak barrels, where the wine reaches its full potential, always respecting the purity of the fruit.

Tasting Notes

Deep cherry red color with garnet rim, bright and high intensity. Intense, elegant and complex nose, dominated by aromas of ripe black fruit—blackberry, blueberry, plum—, accompanied by notes of cocoa, vanilla, clove, tobacco and a delicate balsamic and mineral background. On the palate it is structured, silky and enveloping, with polished tannins, excellent acidity and a long, persistent and profoundly elegant finish, where fruit and noble wood blend in perfect balance.

Pairing

Ideal for grilled red meats, aged beef chop, suckling lamb, game stews, traditional spoon dishes, cured cheeses and Iberian cured meats. A wine that demands time, calm and a generous table.
