Product Sheet – Sela 2023
Sela 2023 is the freshest, most approachable, and accessible expression from the prestigious Roda winery, located in the heart of Rioja Alta. This wine reflects the natural elegance of the Tempranillo variety, with the depth and subtlety provided by a mature vineyard meticulously and respectfully cultivated.
It originates from high-altitude vineyards, with vines between 15 and 30 years old, grown in clay-limestone soils that impart freshness, tension, and balance. The harvest is manual, with meticulous selection in the vineyard and winery. It ferments with indigenous yeasts in oak vats, and its aging extends for 12 months in semi-new French oak barrels, where the wine refines and develops its elegant profile, without losing its fruity expression.
