Sericis Cepas Viejas Bobal 2020 is a red wine made by Bodegas Murviedro in the D.O. Utiel-Requena, within the province of Valencia. It originates from old vines over 60 years old, cultivated in goblet on soils poor in organic matter, where the native Bobal variety reaches its maximum expression. The wine is aged for 14 months in new French oak barrels, developing an elegant, structured, and deeply Mediterranean personality.

Tasting Notes

Intense cherry red color with violet nuances. The nose is expressive and complex, with aromas of ripe black fruits, undergrowth, licorice, and spicy notes reminiscent of clove and vanilla. On the palate, its structure and balance stand out, with round tannins, well-integrated freshness, and a persistent finish with mineral and toasted notes.

Perfect with game dishes, grilled meats, mountain rice dishes, cured sausages, and raw milk cheeses.
