Terras Gauda Albariño 2023 embodies the untouched freshness of the Atlantic, the purest and most vibrant expression of the O Rosal valley, where Albariño meets Caíño Blanco and Loureiro to create a broad, aromatic, and profoundly Galician white wine. A wine born amidst sea breezes and granite rock, each glass reflects the fresh and luminous soul of the Rías Baixas.

Crafted from estate vineyards located at the mouth of the Miño River, on sandy and granite soils. The harvest is manual, with rigorous selection in the vineyard. Each variety ferments separately at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks, preserving all the fruit expression and varietal freshness. Subsequently, the wine rests briefly on its lees, gaining texture and balance.

Tasting Notes

Pale yellow color with greenish reflections, bright and clean. The nose is intense, fresh, and fragrant, with notes of white fruit—pear, green apple—ripe citrus, white flowers, and an undertone of aromatic herbs and Atlantic minerality. On the palate, it is broad and silky, with a lively acidity that sustains its freshness, an enveloping texture, and a long, saline finish where fruit and landscape blend in harmony.

Pairing

Ideal with Galician seafood, white fish, seafood rice dishes, ceviches, mild cheeses, and fresh tapas. A gastronomic and versatile white wine, perfect both as an aperitif and to accompany main dishes of Atlantic cuisine.
