The Vineyard

The vineyards surround the Torralbenc estate, an old Menorcan agricultural property carefully restored to recover the island's wine-making tradition.

Cultivated under Menorca's Mediterranean climate, the vines benefit from the constant influence of the sea breeze, which promotes slow and balanced ripening and gives the wine freshness and elegance.

The harvest is carried out entirely by hand, selecting only the bunches that have reached their optimal ripeness.

Production

The varieties are vinified separately in stainless steel tanks to preserve their full varietal expression.

Subsequently, each wine undergoes malolactic fermentation before beginning an eight-month aging period in French oak barrels, where it acquires greater aromatic complexity, structure, and perfectly integrated silky tannins.

After the final blending, the wine undergoes an additional period of refinement in the bottle before being released to the market.

Tasting Notes

It presents an attractive medium ruby red color.

On the nose, it offers great aromatic complexity with notes of plum, blackberry, and ripe red fruit, accompanied by delicate hints of black pepper, eucalyptus, licorice, tobacco leaves, and an elegant toasted background with nuances of coffee and wood.

On the palate, it is smooth, fresh, and perfectly balanced. Its enveloping texture and fine tannins lead to a long and persistent finish, where red fruits, licorice, and delicate hints of toasted bread reappear.

Pairing

Ideal for red meats, lamb, roasted poultry, mountain rice dishes, Mediterranean cuisine, Iberian cured meats, aged cheeses, and mushrooms.

Recommended serving temperature: between 16 and 18 ºC.
