Sourced from historic vineyards—some over 90 years old—located at high altitudes, on poor and stony soils. Monastrell and Cabernet Sauvignon blend in this wine, which is contained power and wild elegance. The harvest is manual, with a rigorous selection of bunches. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and open barrels, followed by a long aging period of 20 months in new French oak barrels, where the wine refines, polishes, and reaches its maximum expression.

Tasting Notes

Very deep cherry-red color, with garnet rim and high intensity. On the nose, it displays a hypnotic intensity: very ripe black fruit—blackberry, black plum—notes of licorice, cocoa, sweet spices, roasted aromas, and an elegant mineral background. On the palate, it is opulent, powerful, and silky, with sweet and polished tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, persistent, and enveloping finish where black fruit, noble wood, and echoes of dry earth and hot stone mingle.
